Message in a Bottle

Debuted as part of the show "Momentum" at Pulse Gallery, San Diego, January-February 2014

“Message in a Bottle” explores ageism and the inability of older workers to find meaningful employment, or often any job at all. Cubicle walls, chicken wire, and broken glass tell the story of a life trapped in a job that, while unfulfilling, may be the only chance to remain relevant in the workforce.

The piece measures 78 inches wide, 66 inches long, and 66 inches tall.
