The installation/performance made its debut at the grand opening of the New Museum Los Gatos on June 6, 2015.
During the performance, Dani Dodge typed people's dreams and aspirations, specifically dreams they had had as children and had achieved or were still working on. The dreamers placed those dreams on a mural-sized abstract painting based on the museum's blueprint. If it was a dream they had abandoned, Dodge burned it.
The performance was inspired by the dream of Dr. Ethel Dana, who believed there should be a museum in Los Gatos for her own children. She created one at the town’s historic firehouse in 1965.
The painting remains in the museum's collection.
